1. Agreement to Terms
These Terms of Service form a legally binding agreement between you and NotionGate regarding your use of our website, account features, software, and related services. By accessing or using NotionGate, you confirm that you have read and agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must stop using the service.
2. Eligibility and Account Responsibilities
You are responsible for providing accurate account information and for keeping that information current. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials, including your email and password, and for all activity under your account unless you promptly notify us of unauthorized use.
NotionGate links an account to device identifiers, including hardware identifiers (HWID), to enforce licensing and plan limits. Under the Basic plan, one account is limited to one device. Under Pro and Team plans, the number of permitted devices is adjustable and determined by the active plan terms.
We may require identity or account verification in situations involving security, abuse prevention, or account recovery.
3. Acceptable Use
You may use NotionGate only for lawful purposes and in compliance with these Terms. You may not use the service to violate laws, infringe third-party rights, interfere with security controls, distribute malware, gain unauthorized access, or disrupt service availability for other users.
You also may not use automated, deceptive, or abusive patterns to overload systems, scrape protected content at scale, or circumvent restrictions designed to protect service integrity.
4. Third-Party Services and Integrations
NotionGate interacts with third-party tools and platforms, including Notion and error-monitoring tooling such as Sentry. Third-party services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party systems we do not own or control, including changes they make to their APIs, availability, or policies.
5. Intellectual Property
Unless explicitly stated otherwise, NotionGate retains all rights, title, and interest in the service, software, branding, and related content. These Terms grant a limited, revocable, non-exclusive permission to use the service in accordance with the Terms, and do not transfer ownership of intellectual property rights.
6. Service Availability and Changes
We may modify, improve, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service at any time for operational, security, legal, or product reasons. We may also apply temporary or permanent limits where necessary to protect users, maintain uptime, or comply with law.
We do not guarantee that specific features will remain available forever, especially where external platform dependencies change.
7. Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or terminate access when we reasonably believe that these Terms were violated, when an account poses security or legal risk, or when continued access could harm the service or other users. You may stop using the service at any time.
Provisions that by their nature should survive termination, including provisions related to liability, disputes, and intellectual property, will continue to apply after termination.
8. Warranty Disclaimer
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted or error-free operation, except where such disclaimers are not permitted by applicable law.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, NotionGate will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, revenue, data, business opportunities, or goodwill arising out of or related to use of the service.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless NotionGate from claims, liabilities, losses, and expenses arising from your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the service, or your violation of applicable law or third-party rights.
11. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by applicable law at the operator location, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, unless mandatory consumer protection law in your jurisdiction requires a different approach. If a dispute arises, both parties agree to attempt a good-faith resolution before initiating formal proceedings.
12. Privacy and Data Handling
Our handling of personal data, including account email/password processing and technical diagnostics from tools such as Sentry, is described in our Privacy Policy at/privacy. By using the service, you acknowledge that data may be processed as described in that policy.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may revise these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Material revisions become effective when posted unless a different effective date is explicitly stated.
