Usage

NotionGate is used from the desktop app interface with dedicated pages for Dashboard, Mappings, Settings, Account, and bug reporting.

Dashboard

  • - System Status: backend runtime and Notion connectivity status.
  • - Manually Refresh and Sync: triggers an immediate page-mapping refresh.
  • - Mapping Overview: quick list of your active mappings and enabled states.

Basic Plan Limits

  • - The app shows mapped folder usage and remaining capacity.
  • - The app shows the per-folder file cap and near-limit folders.
  • - Database mappings are disabled on Basic and available on Pro/Team.

Mappings and File Links

  • - Mappings: create and manage page/database synchronization rules.
  • - File links: generate reusable one-time file links and copy them into Notion.
  • - You can enable, disable, edit, and review all mappings from one place.

Settings and Account

  • - Settings: app behavior, diagnostics preferences, and About information.
  • - Account: profile, license status, and device-linked access details.

No Tray Context Menu Workflow

The current app flow is centered on the in-app pages above. If you see older references to a tray context menu, treat them as legacy guidance.
