Usage
NotionGate is used from the desktop app interface with dedicated pages for Dashboard, Mappings, Settings, Account, and bug reporting.
Dashboard
- - System Status: backend runtime and Notion connectivity status.
- - Manually Refresh and Sync: triggers an immediate page-mapping refresh.
- - Mapping Overview: quick list of your active mappings and enabled states.
Basic Plan Limits
- - The app shows mapped folder usage and remaining capacity.
- - The app shows the per-folder file cap and near-limit folders.
- - Database mappings are disabled on Basic and available on Pro/Team.
Mappings and File Links
- - Mappings: create and manage page/database synchronization rules.
- - File links: generate reusable one-time file links and copy them into Notion.
- - You can enable, disable, edit, and review all mappings from one place.
Settings and Account
- - Settings: app behavior, diagnostics preferences, and About information.
- - Account: profile, license status, and device-linked access details.
No Tray Context Menu Workflow
The current app flow is centered on the in-app pages above. If you see older references to a tray context menu, treat them as legacy guidance.
